One of the best fish & chips I've had! The fish was freshly cooked, the batter on the fish was just so tasty! Lovely, proper chips and mushy peas. It's a must try when in the area! Lovely and friendly staff. You can eat in the restaurant, where they accept card and cash payment. Takeaway ia cash only. Highly recommend! Wells next the Sea may have French's, but Sheringham has even better Dave's!

As others have written in their reviews, it was the best fish and chips I've ever had No unpleasant smell of fish, the meat was plump and the batter was crispy. The curry sauce was delicious. The staff at the restaurant were very friendly and made the dinner a pleasant experience!

Hands down, the best fish and chips I’ve ever had in the whole of the UK! (Previously it would have been the catch in porthleven Cornwall), but this is by far and away some of the best food I’ve ever eaten from either a takeaway or a restaurant! The fish was cooked to absolute perfection, the chips were crispy and soft, the mushy peas were great, and to top it all off, it wasn’t the standard tartare sauce, it just elevated the dish perfectly. Value-wise, brilliant. 13.50 for large (and I mean LARGE) cod regular chips and mushy peas, I’m 6ft and 14stone and couldn’t finish it all!! Recommended by a local, and I certainly will to everyone I meet. Fishers and frenchies (in wells and Hunstanton) have absolutely nothing on these guys!

The BEST Fish and Chip Shop EVER My partner grew up here, he has always highly rated the food since a child and he is a True Food Lover. It is the very best fish and chips you can get - great price too. I recommend the haddock and chips, its so worth the queue and you can go and sit on the wall by the sea just a couple of minutes down the road and enjoy the view for free. Overall - a great treat..

I can't remember the last time I ate Cod and chips this good. Staff are polite, friendly and attentive. Dave's Fish Bar and Restaurant is clean, spacious and decorative. Once ordered the meal arrives quickly in large portions and it's hot, very fresh and extremely delicious . Great value too! As a family we will definitely return for what could be the best fish and chips in Norfolk.

Gosh the chips are good, they tasted of potato and they weren’t over cooked. The sausage was quality, it had a good amount of seasoning/flavour all for a fiver! Cash only was weird but there’s a cash point at Sainsbury’s round the corner. We stood and ate indoors because it was very cold plus it’s always good to have more salt and vinegar when you share a large portion of chips. Totally delicious!

What can I say, lovely food especially the curry sauce. Very clean and staff attentive. Didn't wait for long and everything was very fresh. So good we ate 2 days on the spin. Tucked away, but this is a must if you're in sheringham. Great price! Parking was OK, we went in the pay and display near the crown pub and walked round. You can park in the bays in the road for 45 mins, but as long as you like after 6pm.

I had the daves special and it was very nice. The fish was fab. Nice crisp with soft white flakes. No bones. Chips were OK. Mushy peas were good. For the money you can't go wrong.
